If you’re living the loungewear life these days, it doesn’t get better than the Belmont Leggings & Yoga Pants. Ever since we launched the Belmont as a PDF-only pattern a while back as part of our activewear collection, we’ve heard from curvy sewists how much they’ve enjoyed sewing their own athleisurewear. We’re pleased to share that now, even more sewist can have access to this pattern, because the Belmont is now available as a printed pattern as well as PDF!

Additionally, both the Belmont printed pattern and PDF patterns are available in sizes 12-32. The Spruce Tank and Cedar Dolman Top PDF are also now available in sizes 12-32, and we will be updating the Cedar printed pattern as soon as we’re able. These three patterns join our growing collection of patterns available up to size 32, including the Saybrook TankMontrose TopConcord T-ShirtCalder Pants & ShortsTurner Dress, and many others.

Performance Meets Style with the Belmont Leggings

If you’re looking for stretchy bottoms that keep up with you all day long, it doesn’t get better than the Belmont Leggings & Yoga Pants. View A is the ultimate wardrobe essential: a pair of full-length leggings with a clean hidden elastic finish. Salute the sun in View B, a classic pair of yoga pants featuring a capri length hem and foldover waistband, which can be worn up or down.

Both views are designed with comfortable, ultra-high rises, and you can choose to include easy-to-insert flexible gussets for more flexibility.

Here’s what sewist Theresa had to say about her Belmonts:

“I have knee problems and was planning a cross country car trip so I decided to make compression leggings in hopes of being more comfortable. I chose the Belmont leggings pattern because of my past successful experiences with Cashmerette patterns and the outside seam that would allow for additional customization.

I made a total of three pairs, all with the elastic waistband. They were a huge success. I was able to drive all day without pain or swelling in my knees or ankles. The Belmont leggings was the perfect pattern for my custom compression leggings and they made the 5,500 mile trip from Alaska to Georgia so much easier. Thank you for a great pattern!”

Get Active with the Spruce Tank

When we designed our dream workout tank, we wanted it to cover any sports bra, not overly compress the bust (so hard to breathe!), be long enough not to flash neighbors in downward dog, but still have some of the fun features you see ready-to-wear activewear. Thus, the Spruce Tank was born!

The Spruce is a sleek workout tank, featuring princess seams, a v-neck or crew neck, and an easy fold-over elastic finish. View A has a scooped back with trendy decorative straps while View B scores you some extra coverage with a high back and cap sleeves. This pattern is available in PDF only.

Cashmerette Cedar Workout Top

Here’s what sewist Liz had to say about the Spruce:

“I’ve used this pattern as written to make a workout top, and by adding slightly more ease and longer sleeves, a top for work. Both have attracted many compliments from others! It was great to have the different cup-sized pattern, and I didn’t need to adjust the bust line.”

Dress Up or Down with the Cedar Dolman Top

Patterns that can be made up in wovens AND knits are few and far between! The Cedar Dolman Top is a casual, dolman sleeve top suitable for drapey wovens or knits, with a relaxed fit and an optional pretty knotted detail. Plus, it’s easy to sew: the dolman sleeves are incorporated into the pattern pieces, so no sleeve insertion is required. The Cedar has a deep neckline and hem facing, which are both topstitched down, and a center front seam.

We’ve specifically designed the Cedar to work well for larger busts, but bear in mind that you’ll always have some folds at the underarm with dolmans–embrace the slouchy casual look!

Here’s what sewist Karen had to say about the Cedar:

“After seeing that this top could be made with woven fabric, I thought I’d give it a go. I’ll admit I was swayed by the facings being included, rather than using bias binding. I measured myself and worked off the finished pattern measurements for bust size to get exactly what I wanted. My full bust is in the C/D range but I went with G/H (trusting in the pattern).

Nailed it.That’s the biggest thing I can say about Cashmerette pattens – you can trust them. Two hours from cut to finish (including coffee), too easy. I can see this pattern will also be pretty hackable too. Thanks again Jenny and team!”
