Knit dresses are the ultimate “secret pajamas”, and it doesn’t get better than the Appleton Dress and the Pembroke Dress. The Appleton features cross-over wrap designed to play up your curves with a built-in waist tie and a deep v-neck—plus, its innovative neckband design prevents gaping at the bust. The Pembroke Dress is a classic t-shirt dress with three neckline options and multiple sleeve lengths and finishes. You can build a whole ultra-comfortable wardrobe with just these two patterns!

The Appleton Dress and Pembroke Dress & Tunic patterns are now available in sizes 12-32 and cup sizes C-H in PDF, and we will be updating the printed patterns as well as soon as we’re able. The Appleton Dress

The Appleton Dress is where it all began for Cashmerette. This curve-friendly wrap dress was the first pattern we ever released, almost five years ago now. (Hard to believe it’s been that long already!)

Wrap dresses have been a classic wardrobe staple for decades, with good reason. The Appleton is the ideal garment when you want to look dressy, but be ultra-comfortable too. We also find it very accommodating for folks whose weight fluctuates: just tie the wrap tighter or looser depending on what your body needs that day. Friend and Cashmerette model Michelle is wearing an Appleton Dress in a size 26 C/D graded to a 30 at the waist and hips. She measures 55” bust, 50” waist, and 60” hip, and she is 5’ 6”.

The Pembroke Dress & Tunic

A true “secret pajamas” pattern, the Pembroke Dress & Tunic is simple, chic, and made from jersey or lightweight ponte so you have maximum comfort all day, but with that extra bit of polish you know you can get from Cashmerette. Whether you go solid or color-block, use the waist tie or the turtleneck (everything is interchangeable), it’s so easy and quick to sew up the different variations that you’ll be building your Pembroke mini-wardrobe in no time.
