- Fitted bodice in cup sizes C-H with a lining for a clean neckline and armhole finishing
- Trendy asymmetrical neckline accentuated with pleats on one shoulder
- Waist darts for shaping
- Optional waistband
- Midi-length tulip skirt with a pleated overlay
- Want even more options? You can mix and match the Dewey’s bodice and skirt with any of the bodices and skirts of the Grafton Dress, Top & Skirt to create dozens of additional looks. You can even use the Dewey’s skirt with the Mercier Jumpsuit‘s wrap top!
The Dewey is rated advanced beginner, and you can sew your first Dewey in style with our free step-by-step video sewalong, hosted by Saremy of Sew Sew Live.
Add even more drama to your Dewey by making a simple tie belt, like we did in black jersey for our model Rae. Simply cut rectangles at your desired width and length and sew them together with a taper at one end.
The Dewey is designed for light- to mid-weight knit fabrics such as jersey or ITY for a casual look, or use stretch velvet or lamé type fabrics for a more glam dress. Your fabric should have at least 25% stretch horizontally and 10% stretch vertically.
