Imagine this: you’re sitting in a meeting at work but you can’t concentrate on what’s being said because you’re worried your blouse is gaping open.
If you have a big bust, that’s probably not very hard to imagine—you’re likely very familiar with that feeling! When you have big boobs, button-up blouses that fit your curves and don’t gape at your bust are quite hard to come by, and it’s one reason why many of us turn to sewing. But most sewing patterns are drafted for smaller cup sizes, so those often don’t fit either.
So say goodbye to gaping and hello to your new favorite blouse with the Selwyn Top, this month’s Cashmerette Club pattern. The Selwyn is a woven blouse designed for a gape-free fit for curves and features shoulder princess seams and stylish pintucks, plus an optional over-the-shoulder ruffle that forms a small cap sleeve. Want even more sleeve options? You can mix and match the Selwyn with the Vernon Shirt’s two sleeve options and top it off with the Vernon’s chic covered button placket.
The Selwyn Top comes in sizes 0-32 and cup sizes C-H and is available exclusively to Cashmerette Club members. Not a member yet? Join today for as little as $9 USD—cancel anytime.

Hi ! I think there is a tiny mistake in yardage requirements for Vernon sleeves.
Additionnal yardage in meters is more important with 1.40 m wide fabrics than with 1.15 m ones.
Thanks for catching this! We’ve fixed the chart.
