Introducing the Roseclair Dress, a Woven Wrap Dress for Curves!

The new star of your summer wardrobe is here: introducing the Cashmerette Roseclair Dress, a woven wrap dress designed for curves in sizes 0-32 and cup sizes C-H. Breezy and beautiful, it’s the showstopper dress you’ve been searching for.

Tiered woven wrap dresses are super trendy, but if you have a full bust, you might find that most woven wrap dresses (both in ready-to-wear and sewing patterns) gape at the neck. Well, we say no more of that!

The Roseclair Dress is designed specifically for full busts so that you can say goodbye to the dreaded gape for good. You’ve been asking us for a woven wrap dress ever since we launched the Appleton Dress (a knit wrap dress and our first ever pattern), and we can’t wait to see what you make with this new addition to the Cashmerette collection.

The Roseclair is available as an instant-download PDF with print-at-home and copy shop files, or as a beautifully printed pattern that ships anywhere in the world.

The Roseclair is also the first pattern we’re releasing simultaneously in our 0-16 and 12-32 dual size ranges! These size ranges are sold separately, and you can get help choosing the right range for you here.

Trendy Yet Timeless—The Dress That’s the Best of Both Worlds!

Ruffled tiered dresses are having a moment, and we are here for it! Whether you’re all about the latest trends or prefer timeless, classic looks, the Roseclair has your back (and your front).

At its core, the Roseclair is a woven wrap dress designed for a full bust. We’re all about superb fit here at Cashmerette, so having that strong foundation (tested throughly by makers in the community!) for the Roseclair was our number one priority. If you go with View B, you’ll get a timeless, versatile woven wrap dress that you’ll love to wear for years to come. But if you want to get in on the ruffled, tiered, bishop sleeve trend (at last!), go with View A! Or mix and match skirt and sleeve combinations to craft your ideal dress.

The Roseclair is designed for lightweight woven fabric, such as linen, rayon, cotton, or double gauze. We’ll be sharing Roseclairs from some special makers in the coming days, and you’ll be able to see how the pattern looks in a variety of fabrics and sizes.

Let’s take a closer look at the Roseclair’s views:

View A: The Showstopper

Float from room to room in View A of the Roseclair Dress, which features an ankle-length three-tiered skirt. Gathering the tiers is a cinch (pun intended!) thanks to our detailed instructions and generous pattern markings. View A’s roomy bishop sleeves are comfortable to wear and add a bit of extra drama to your look.

Dhara is weaving View A in a yard dyed cotton.
Michelle is wearing View A in an ecovero twill.

Views B & C: Classically Chic

Views B and C feature a knee-length full skirt for a classic wrap dress look. Go for short sleeves with View B, or fun puff sleeves with View C. Either way, you’ll have an ultra wearable dress that’s perfect for the office or a picnic.

Rachel is wearing View B in a crinkle cotton double gauze.
Brittany is wearing View C in a rayon crepe.

However you choose to make your Roseclair, you’ll be able to bask in the summer breeze in a floaty woven wrap dress with a neckline that stays in place all day.

We can’t wait to see your Roseclairs! Be sure to share your makes on social media using the hashtag #RoseclairDress so we can shower you with praise.
