Cashmerette Club: Meet the Esmond Pants, the Club pattern for January!

Let’s get to work with the Esmond Pants! This month’s Cashmerette Club pattern is a customizable cargo pants sewing pattern (with a variety of pocket styles!) designed for curves. Join the Club for as little as $9 USD to get this pattern.

Cargo pants are having a renaissance. Traditionally, they were associated with hard and dirty work, made from hard-wearing fabrics and designed for utility. But now they’re also on trend, and come in lots more colors and fabrics! However, it can be hard to find cargo pants that actually fit if you have curves—and that stay comfortable when you’re moving around, whether that’s doing yard work or off on a shopping trip.

That’s where the Esmond Pants come in! This cargo pants pattern features a relaxed style with straight legs, two bum fit options, and a partially elasticated back waistband for the ultimate curve-friendly fit. And top it off with roomy front pockets and four other pocket styles that you can choose from, as well as trendy cuffs and an optional D-ring detail to take your Esmond’s utilitarian vibe to the next level.

The Esmond comes in sizes 0-32 and is available exclusively to Cashmerette Club members. Not a member yet? Join today for as little as $9 (cancel anytime).

Dawn is wearing View B in a size 24 with the standard bum piece. Her measurements are 44″ waist and 54″ hips, and she is 5′ 9″.

Angela is wearing View A in a size 16 with full bum piece. Her measurements are 35″ waist and 45″ hips, and she is 5′ 3″.

Jennie I am 82 years old and would not benefit from joining the club, I like to buy my patterns when I really like and need them I have purchased a few over the years. Why can’t I just buy this pants pattern, please.

    1. Ayelet says:

Hi Joyce, you can sign up at the Base level (during January) and then cancel right away—that would be like buying the pattern for $9 USD. If you need help signing up or canceling, feel free to email us at hello@cashmerette.com and we’d be happy to help you directly!

Exactly!! I am in my mid eighties and have had the same thought. But as I reply to this it occurs me many younger people may feel the same way. The reasons might be completely different but just as viable.

Let me know what you think!
