Cashmerette Club: Meet the Brattle Top, the Club pattern for April!

This month’s Cashmerette Club pattern is the Brattle Top, a simple tee with a twist! Join Cashmerette Club for as little as $9 to get this pattern.

Add a twist to your tee collection with the Brattle Top! The Brattle is a curve-friendly t-shirt with a faced neckline and an inventive twist that adds visual interest to your t-shirt collection without adding bulk. Opt for the Brattle’s short sleeves, or swap in any of the sleeves from the Concord T-Shirt or Carlyle T-Shirt patterns for even more possibilities!

The Brattle Top comes in sizes 0-32 (and works for all Cashmerette cup sizes!) and is available exclusively to Cashmerette Club members. Not a member yet? Join today for as little as $9 USD—cancel anytime.

Meet the Brattle Top

Don’t tie yourself up in knots trying to figure out what to wear! With the Brattle Top, you’ll be looking at t-shirts in a whole new way. Designed for curves, comfort, and style, the Brattle features:

  • Bust-friendly fit for full busts in all Cashmerette cup sizes
  • Curved neckline with a wide facing
  • Short sleeves, or use any of the sleeves from the Concord T-Shirt or the Carlyle T-Shirt
  • A clever twist at the hem that elevates it beyond a simple tee

This pattern is rated advanced beginner, and with only 5 pattern pieces, it’s a quick sew and an instant wardrobe winner! And you can sew your Brattle with confidence with our free step-by-step video sewalong.

The Brattle is designed for light- to mid-weight knit fabric such as cotton/lycra jersey, poly/lycra jersey, rayon jersey, or ITY with at least 20% crosswise stretch.

A big thanks to our friends at Core Fabrics, who generously gifted us the fabric for Michelle’s cotton baby rib knit Brattle and Brit’s cotton and tencel jersey Brattle!

Mix and Match with the Concord and Carlyle!

Expand your tee collection by mixing and matching sleeves from the Brattle, Concord, and Carlyle!

The Brattle includes short sleeves, but you can swap them out for long or 3/4 length sleeves (with two sleeve finish options) from the Concord or puffy sleeves from the Carlyle.

All this month, Cashmerette Club members get 30% off the Concord T-Shirt. (The Carlyle T-Shirt is available with a Cashmerette Club All Access membership.)

Also New in the Club this Month: Masterclass & Live Event

Club members in the Plus and All Access tiers get a new fitting masterclass every month! This month, Jenny is diving into vertical adjustments. Whether you’re taller, shorter, or exactly the same height as a pattern is drafted for, you may need to make length adjustments to fit the garment to your specific proportions. So in this masterclass, Jenny shows you how to adjust the length of a pattern beyond the lengthen/shorten lines.

Plus and All Access members also get access to this month’s live event. This month, we’re chatting all about sewing for body fluctuations. Our bodies are constantly changing and that can make sewing your own clothes frustrating: no one wants to spend countless hours sewing beautiful things only for them not to fit over time. So join Jenny as she shares her tips and tricks for sewing garments that will continue to fit as your body changes.

Head to the Club dashboard to learn more and register to attend. Can’t make it live? This event will be recorded and shared with members afterward.

We can’t wait to see what you make with this pattern! Join Cashmerette Club today to download the Brattle Top and get started sewing instantly.

(Joining after April 2023? You’ll need to sign up at the All Access level to get the Brattle Top.)
