A polo sweatshirt for big boobs! Meet the Brookhaven Sweatshirt

Who doesn’t love a cozy sweatshirt? And with the classic polo style having a major moment right now, I’ve been dreaming of the perfect polo sweatshirt to add to my wardrobe. But if you have big boobs, you know the struggle: to get enough room up top, you end up swimming in fabric everywhere else. Not exactly the relaxed-but-polished look we’re going for.

That’s why I’m so excited to introduce the Brookhaven Polo Sweatshirt, this month’s Cashmerette Club pattern! The Brookhaven gives you all that cozy preppy style with bust darts and cup sizes C-H, so you actually get the fit you’re looking for—not a fabric tent. The Brookhaven features classic polo styling including a ribbed collar and buttoned placket, as well as gently shaped darted sleeves for a contemporary touch. It’s a polo sweatshirt that fits the way it should.

Heather is wearing a Brookhaven made with custom-printed Polartec fleece from Spoonflower and ribbing from Style Maker Fabrics. She is wearing a size 18 G/H. Her measurements are 45″ (114cm) high bust, 48″ (122cm) full bust, 41″ (104cm) waist and 46″ (117cm) hip and she is 5’7″ (170cm).

Fabric Recommendations for the Brookhaven

The body of the Brookhaven is designed for mid-weight fabrics such as fleece, French terry, velour or minky. The fabrics can be non-stretch, or up to up to 25% stretch in one or both directions. The collar, cuffs and hem band are designed for knit ribbed fabric (tubular or by the yard) with up to 50% stretch, or heavy knit such as ponte or scuba.
