Here at Cashmerette HQ we spend most of the year with our heads down in “go go go!” mode, a whirlwind of muslins and spreadsheets and snacks. So it’s great to take a minute, and a mince pie, at the end of the year to pause and look back at everything that happened—and on this, our 10th anniversary!

Cashmerette Club Goodies
2025 brought our best-ever year of Cashmerette Club, if I say so myself! My fave patterns are always the ones I simply could never buy in stores to fit my boobs, and so I was thrilled to bring you the Glover Jean Jacket, Hartwell Waistcoat, Rhinecliff Overalls and Marston Raincoat, which all belong firmly in that category. Sprinkle in a DVF-inspired Hazelton Wrap Dress, bang-on-trend Vinton Barrel Pants and 6 more awesome patterns. It was a bonanza!
As if that wasn’t enough, we had fantastic live events including couture sewing legend Susan Khalje, and 12 more fit masterclasses were added to the library.

GAME-CHANGING PATTERNS
Symmes & Ellington
But amazing pattern innovation didn’t just happen in the Club—because we also launched our very first strapless bra, the Symmes Strapless Bra, and strapless dress, the Ellington Dress!
Did I ever think we’d have such things when I launched Cashmerette 10 years ago? Absolutely not. But if you’ve ever been told strapless “just isn’t for your body type,” our product development team begs to differ. Thanks to their amazing skills and determination, you too can now wear strapless garments without being squashed or pinched or suffocated. Bring on the gowns!!

Sloper School Redux
As if that wasn’t enough, we also ran year 2 of our super-duper-popular interactive fitting course, Sloper School. We learned so much in the first year, and revamped it to be even more comprehensive, and more helpful, and our student results speak for themselves!

SAME US, NEW LOOK
A Makeover for Cashmerette
Finally, a huge project which was well over a year in development: our new branding and website. I was utterly thrilled with the response—it’s rare that people feel particularly positive about new websites (I get it, you get used to what you know!)—but we had such an outpouring of wonderful feedback from the community.
The website doesn’t just look prettier—it’s also way easier to use and navigate, and find everything you need to sew a wardrobe that fits.
As always, I am indebted to my small but mighty team of Ayelet, Jen and Carrie (plus our many freelancers who are honorary members of the team), and thrilled with what we’ve been able to do in 2025.
And what can I say? 2026 promises to be even better…
