Let’s take a look at the makes!
Christina’s Hatton
Christina went full autumn vibes with her Hatton! She paired a plaid Sherpa faux fur fleece with a coordinating plain fleece. The result is a jacket that works beautifully to transition a summer wardrobe into fall.
Christina’s measurements are 49″ (124cm) high bust, 54″ (137cm) full bust, 48″ (122cm) waist, and 60″ (152cm) hip, and she made a size 24 G/H graded out to 30 at the hip.

Kirsten’s Hatton
Kristen gave her Hatton a full military makeover. She used olive camo stretch twill and added patch pockets with flaps and ditched the binding entirely for a cleaner finish. Her thoughtful adjustments resulted in a jacket that pairs beautifully with crop tops, balloon-leg trousers, and chunky jewelry for the complete military-boho look.
Kristen’s measurements are 38″ (97cm) high bust, 41.5″ (105cm) full bust, 34″ (86cm) waist, and 43″ (109cm) hip, and she made a size 12 at the shoulders, grading to a 14 C/D at the bust, waist, and hips.

Kacy’s Hatton
Kacy went bold with candy pink and red color-blocking, and the resulting jacket is so cheerful! Her tip for other sewists? “Buy extra fold over elastic to finish all of your inside seams for a really polished garment, inside and out.”
Kacy’s measurements are 36″ (92.5cm) high bust, 43″ (109.5cm) full bust, 31″ (79.5cm) waist, and 41″ (105cm) hip and she made a straight size 12 G/H.

Emily’s Hatton
Emily’s heavyweight fleece Hatton in a beautiful neutral tone showcases the pattern’s versatility! Despite being initially daunted by the pattern’s complexity, Emily embraced new techniques like fold-over elastic and ripstop, creating a professional-looking jacket that’s perfect for simple styling with jeans and a long-sleeve tee.
Emily’s measurements are 37″ (94cm) high bust, 40″ (102cm) full bust, 34″ (86cm) waist, and 46″ (117cm) hip, and she made a size 12 C/D.

Flavia’s Hatton
Flavia’s softshell fleece Hatton is the perfect example of function meeting style! By choosing a water-repellent and windproof fabric, she created the ideal jacket for morning walks.
Flavia’s measurements are 39″ (99cm) high bust, 42″ (107cm) full bust, 34″ (86cm) waist, and 47″ (119cm) hip and she made a size 14 C/D graded to 16 at the waist.

Lisa’s Hatton
Lisa also made her Hatton in a red plaid and black solid fleece—it’s such a classic look! Her first experience with fold-over elastic went well enough that she’s already planning a second version in team colors, and we can’t wait to see how it turns out.
Lisa’s measurements are 44″ (112cm) high bust, 50″ (127cm) full bust, 48″ (122cm) waist, and 50″ (127cm) hip, and she made a size 20 G/H graded to 26 at the waist and 22 at the hip.

Lauren’s Hatton
Lauren’s navy and grey Hatton showcases beautiful color coordination! Using organic cotton fleece paired with navy ripstop, she created a sophisticated two-tone look that’s perfect for casual comfort.
Lauren’s measurements are 46″ (117cm) high bust, 55″ (140cm) full bust, 46″ (117cm) waist, and 55″ (140cm) hip, and she made a size 22 G/H with a 3″ full bust adjustment, and graded to a size 26 hip.

Let’s start sewing!
From military chic to candy colors to autumn comfort to straightforward practicality, the Hatton Fleece Jacket proves that good design is a solid foundation for personal expression—even when that expression is mostly “I want to be warm and look like I have my life together.” Mission accomplished on all fronts.

I would love a blog post on how to get Kirsten’s clean finish! I absolutely love that look!
I’m guessing it’s because she used twill instead of fleece.
Maybe, but she did a fantastic job of tailoring. It looks very professional.
