The Everett Pants & Shorts are all about effortless style meeting everyday comfort—and wow, did our community makers nail it! Keep reading to see 5 lovely Everett creations, including some super fun co-ord sets.

The Everett Pants & Shorts are here! These chic pull-on pants feature an ultra-comfortable elasticated waistband, two bum fit options, plus optional belt and belt loops. With roomy front slash pockets and back patch pockets, they’re perfect for every day of the week.

Let’s take a look at how our makers put their own spin on this new pattern!

Leighanne’s Everett: Navy Co-ord Goals

Leighanne (@ohsewfearless) is absolutely obsessed with her navy linen Everett pants paired with the Thorndike Tank—and so are we! She made a size 14 and her measurements are 35″ waist, and 42″ hips (89/106 cm).

The genius detail? She added extra large rickrack trim to the side seams, making this “one of my most favourite makes ever!” Plus, Leighanne has the best encouragement for anyone nervous about sewing pants: “These are a great pair of pants to make if you aren’t comfortable with pants—super easy to make!”

Shalu’s Everett: Delightful Deadstock

Shalu (@shalu_experiments) created her own co-ord set (also with the Thorndike Tank) that she absolutely loves with a gorgeously detailed linen deadstock print that she picked up in India. She made a size 20 graded to 16 at the hip and her measurements are 46″ waist and 47″ hip (117/119 cm).

Her favorite part was learning about pocket bands for front pockets— we always love when a project teaches us something new! The result is a beautifully fitted pair of pants that she plans to style both as a matching set and as separates.

Gwendolyn’s Everett: Striped Sensation

Gwendolyn (@rxforsewing) made her Everett in a lovely striped linen, and styled it with a coordinating wrap top. She made a size 16 waist graded to 14 at the hip, and her measurements are 33″ waist, and 41.5″ hips (84/105 cm).

Her take on the construction? “Just follow the instructions for a great pair of pants.” We love when patterns are this user-friendly!

Sarah’s Everett: Fun with Gingham

Sarah (@superbailles) went bold with blue painted gingham on viscose linen, and paired her Everetts with a matching Thorndike Tank. She made a size 28 and her measurements are 47″ waist, and 57″ hips (119/145 cm).

Her best advice? “Take the time to get the rise right.” So important for comfortable pants! She loved putting together the front pockets and adding belt loops.

Gannon’s Everett: Elegant Eyelet Trim

Gannon (@made.by.gannon) made the Everett her own by increasing the rise for a high-waisted pants look, and by adding beautiful eyelet trim to the hem. She made a size 32 and her measurements are 48″ waist, and 61″ hips (122/155 cm).

Her one regret? Removing those slash pockets! “Think twice about removing the slash pockets. I regret removing them!” Good reminder that pockets are always a win.

What’s so cool about these five versions is how different they all are! Whether you want sophisticated separates, sustainable staples, playful prints, or creative pattern hacking fun, the Everett delivers.
