My holy grail casual outfit is something comfortable I can throw on every day, but still look polished and on-trend. So naturally, I’m so excited to share our latest Cashmerette Club pattern, the Vinton Pants!
The Vintons are relaxed pants with a fashionable but wearable subtle barrel-shape leg, and lots of elevated details like front flap pockets with snaps, a waistband facing and lots of topstitching. And, because you know Cashmerette is all about great fit and wearability for curves, they also feature a slightly elasticated back waist (if you know, you know), and additional back leg pieces with a full bum adjustment already done for you! Easily paired with sweaters or t-shirts and your favorite sneakers, the Vinton Pants are a great way to look current but feel totally comfy.
Ready to add these to your sewing queue? You can get the Vinton Pants for as little as $9 USD when you join Cashmerette Club today.
The Vinton Pants come in sizes 0 – 32, and include full bum back pieces, and the pattern is exclusively available to Cashmerette Club members. Not a member yet? Now’s the perfect time to join! We offer both monthly and yearly plans to suit your sewing needs.

Choosing fabric for your Vinton Pants
The Vintons are designed for midweight woven fabrics, like twill, denim, or bottom-weight cotton or linen. The more structure the fabric has, the more the barrel shape will be visible! In addition, you’ll need stable woven fabric for the pockets (a great way to use up your fun stash pieces), plus notions including snaps, elastic, a jeans button and topstitching thread.
Several of our amazing samples were made up with fabrics from Blackbird Fabrics, and our lucky Club members have the opportunity to get 15% off all fabric at Blackbird! Head to the dashboard to get the discount code.

If there’s one thing I know is true, it’s that all our bodies are totally unique – yep, we are ALL special snowflakes when it comes to clothes and fitting. So even if you appear to “fit” in the bust, waist and hip of a pattern, it’s not uncommon at all to find it doesn’t fit at another point – and the thigh is a really common one. But have no fear, in this month’s fitting masterclass I take you through how to adjust pants patterns to fit your thighs to perfection – no more compromising with tight or overly baggy pant legs.
Club masterclasses are one of the most popular parts of the Cashmerette Club, and they’re exclusive for Plus and All Access members, who get immediate access to the whole library of over 35 fitting video lessons.
