The Glover is rated intermediate, but we think advanced beginners could also successfully sew a Glover, thanks to the free video sewalong by Saremy of Sew Sew Live.
Picking Fabrics for your Glover
The Glover is designed for non-stretch denim between 8 and 11oz in weight. You can use stretch denim (up to 25%) if it has good recovery, but we recommend testing out topstitching first to make sure it doesn’t stretch out the fabric (you might need to change up your needle or use a walking foot).
You’ll also need stable midweight woven fabric for the pockets – a great opportunity to add a fun feature using your favourite quilting cotton!
