If there’s one thing I can be sure of, it’s that our Cashmerette Club friends show up in style when it comes to dressing up!
Our latest Club pattern, the Mansfield Dress, is the party dress of your dreams – not only is it two dresses in one (a fitted underdress and flowy overdress or skirt), but it also fully integrates with the Upton Dress & Skirt Mix and Match Pack, so the sky really is the limit when it comes to designing and creating a look that’s perfectly you. Our Club collaborators have done a fantastic job of showing you so many different looks you can achieve – read on for inspiration!
Rachel’s Mansfield
Rachel’s festive version of the Mansfield is a total sensation! Not only is she ready for any holiday party with her amazing overskirt and removable bow, but she also has a more reserved sheath dress option just by removing the extra layers. Rachel used a polyester satin shatung for the underdress, and an organza for the overskirt (her top tip: use a serged rolled hem for the skirt for a neat and fast finish).
To customize her Mansfield, she adapted the front of the underdress to have princess seams using the Upton dress princess seamed bodice, and she made the overskirt into a high-low hem, removing around 5” of length in the back up to 24” off at the front center. Add the giant bow and voila! A fantastic ensemble.
Rachel’s measurements are 32” high bust, 35” full bust, 28” waist, and 39” hips (81 cm high bust, 88 full bust, 71 cm waist, 99 cm hips). She made a 4 C/D bust graded to a 6 waist and 8 hips.

Carol’s Mansfield
A skirt made of curtains? It’s not just for Julie Andrews! Carol ingeniously made her gorgeous Mansfield Dress overskirt out of organza curtain fabric, and combined it with peau de soie satin for the dress – and what can we say, the result is fabulous.
Carol’s measurements are 46” high bust, 52” full bust, 50” waist, and 64” hips (116 cm high bust, 132 full bust, 127 cm waist, 162 cm hips). She made a 20 E/F top graded to a 26 waist and 28 hip, with a full bust adjustment of 2” and a full bum adjustment. She lengthened the skirt by 3” and raised the back neckline 1”.

Denise’s Mansfield
Denise says her new Mansfield Dress is perfect for a wedding guest outfit – and we couldn’t agree more. Her sophisticated ensemble was sewn from silky jacquard and chiffon, and has a beautiful swooshing silhouette.
Denise’s measurements are 38” high bust, 41” full bust, 34.5 waist and 39” hip (96 cm high bust, 104 full bust, 87 cm waist, 99 cm hips), and she made a size 14 C/D without adjustments.

Laura’s Mansfield
The Mansfield overskirt can be worn on top of other garments for even more versatility – and Laura did a great job showing us how. She loves the swish factor of her organza skirt, and how it can add drama to an otherwise more plain outfit. We totally agree!
Laura’s measurements are 39” high bust, 40” full bust, 36” waist, and 47” hips (100 cm high bust, 104 cm full bust, 91.5 cm waist, 121 cm hips). She made a size 16 waist graded to an 18 hip.

Tiana’s Mansfield
Can you say Statement Dress?! Tiana made the most of a gorgeous 3D tulle to make her showstopping Mansfield. She said “the underdress fits SO well, especially in the bust – I didn’t need to make any modifications and it came out fitting perfectly”. Plus, she loved our special technique for even gathering! Needless to say, we’re obsessed with her look.
Tiana’s measurements are high bust 57”, full bust 62”, waist 52”, hip 60” (144 cm high bust, 157 cm full bust, 132 cm waist, 152 cm hips) and she made a size 32 G/H cup.

Liz’s Mansfield
Liz reimagined the Mansfield as a warm-weather day dress, and we love it! Made from a beautiful purple linen, she matched the Mansfield top with a gathered tiered skirt, for a swooshy result. Liz’s measurements are high bust 98 cm, full bust 107 cm, waist 98 cm, hip 116 cm (38″ high bust, 42″ full bust, 51″ waist, 59″ hips), and she made a 14 E/F. She shortened the waist a little and increased the darts.

June’s Mansfield
Looking for a chic cocktail dress? June has just the inspo for you. She combined the Mansfield underdress top with the Upton Dress gored skirt for a totally different look. Paired with a lovely printed polyester mikado fabric, everyone needs a go-to cocktail dress like this in their closet
June’s measurements are 41” high bust, 44.75” full bust, 41” waist, 38” hip (104 cm high bust, 113 cm full bust, 104 cm waist, 96 cm hips) and she made a 16 E/F at the bust graded to an 18 at the waist.

Annie’s Mansfield
Annie is really bringing the glam with her Mansfield made from the underdress, in thrifted golden yellow brocade (what a find!). Add a dusting of sparkle, and some killer accessories and Annie is ready for anything.
Her measurements are 35” high bust, 37” full bust, 30” waist, and 40” hips (88 cm high bust, 93 full bust, 76 cm waist, 101 cm hips) and she made a size 8 C/D.

Mona’s Mansfield
Mona activated full party mode for her Mansfield! She combined golden crushed satin for the underdress with a lavender matt tulle for the overskirt – plus, added star trim. Topped off with a hand-made purple crown, it’s a show-stopping look!
Mona’s measurements are 44” high bust, 48” full bust, 44” waist, and 52” hips (111 cm high bust, 121 full bust, 111 cm waist, 132 cm hips). She made a 20 C/D graded to a 24 waist and hip.

Christina’s Mansfield
Christina Mansfield is a total mood! She paired a dark charmeuse satin for the underdress with a voile overdress to make a dramatic and ultra-swooshy dress.
Christina’s measurements are 40” high bust, 45” full bust, 40” waist, 48.5” hip (102 cm high bust, 114 full bust, 102 cm waist, 123 cm hips). She made a 14 E/F graded to a 20 for the underdress, and a 16 E/F graded to a 20 for the overdress. She widened the sleeves and did a narrow shoulder adjustment.

Cindy’s Mansfield
For a total different approach, Cindy (@cilearnstomake) made her Mansfield into casual separates! For the top, she lengthened the bodice by 6” and made it from a great stretch crepe. Then for the skirt, she used an athletic knit and sized down, using elastic for the waistband and omitting the zip.
Cindy’s measurements are 41” high bust, 46” full bust, 41” waist, and 49” hips (104 cm high bust, 116 full bust, 104 cm waist, 124 cm hips). She made a 16 G/H.
