All the t-shirt sewing patterns from Cashmerette!

T-shirts are one of our favorite garments to sew and wear here at Cashmerette HQ – they’re endlessly versatile, super easy to wear, and can be styled in outfits all year long. And now we have 12 different t-shirt sewing pattern styles to choose from at Cashmerette! They’re all thoughtfully designed for curves, with cup sizes from C – H, so you don’t have to compromise fit for style, and there are tons of different features available, many of which you can mix-and-match across patterns.

Here’s our guide to all the t-shirt sewing patterns from Cashmerette – scoot down to the table at the bottom of the post for a detailed comparison and more info on sizing and where you can find each pattern to purchase.

Are we missing any t-shirt styles you’d love to see? Let us know in the comments!

Traditional fitted t-shirts

Concord T-shirt

The Concord is the first t-shirt we ever launched – and still one of our best-sellers! It has a fitted silhouette, three neckline options (high, v-neck and scoop), three sleeve lengths (short, medium or long), three hem lengths (cropped, mid-length or long curved), two sleeve finishes (cuffed or hemmed) and an optional sleeve cuff.

The Concord T-shirt is a Cashmerette Collection pattern, available for anyone to purchase.

Grafton Top

The Grafton Dress, Top & Skirt pattern has literally hundreds of different possible combinations thanks to the mix-and-match features – including many, many t-shirts! Start with two different fit options – a fitted top with negative ease at the bust, or a semi-fitted top with positive ease at the bust – and then pick from a whole array of sleeves (ranging from classic straight sleeves to bishop sleeves, grown-on sleeves and more) and necklines (from turtleneck to square, crew to scoop and more). It can also be made with neckbands or linings for a totally clean finish. Check out the table below for the comprehensive list of options!

Just some of the options of the Grafton:

Relaxed bodice t-shirt with dolman sleeve or long sleeve

Fitted bodice showing 4 sleeves and one sleeveless option (these can all be made t-shirt length without the waist dart)

Five of the neckline options

The Grafton Top, part of the Grafton Dress, Top & Skirt, is a Cashmerette Collection pattern, available for anyone to purchase.

Eustis Top

A classic t-shirt with the option for a gorgeous, slightly puffed sleeve with an elasticated cuff, the Eustis Top offers a pop of sophistication. Make it in stripey jersey for an everyday wardrobe staple or glam it up with a stretch velvet for the evening.

The Eustis Top is included in my book “Sewing the Curve: Learn How to Sew Clothes to Boost Your Wardrobe and Your Confidence“. The printed book contains a printed copy as well as a PDF download link, and the ebook contains the PDF download link.

Less fitted t-shirts

Wexford T-shirt

The Wexford is our swing-iest t-shirt (which also comes as a dress!), with a fitted bust but roomy waist and hip. This t-shirt has a scoop neck and three sleeve lengths (short, mid and long), plus a sleeveless option with banded armholes.

Pembroke Tunic & T-shirt

A hidden gem of the Cashmerette Collection, the Pembroke makes a fantastic semi-fitted t-shirt, if the Concord is a bit too fitted for your style. It has three neckline options (scoop, jewel or turtleneck), two sleeve lengths and cuffed or hemmed sleeve finishes. You can make it in the drafted tunic or dress length, or easily shorten it to a regular t-shirt length!

The Pembroke T-shirt is a Cashmerette Collection pattern, available for anyone to purchase.

Raglan sleeved t-shirts

Stanway T-shirt

Our first ever raglan t-shirt, the Stanway T-shirt is a raglan that actually fits curves! It has a long sleeve and high rounded neck, but you can easily change the sleeve length and transfer different necklines on, if you’d prefer.

Cashmerette Stanway T-Shirt

The Stanway T-shirt is included in my book “Ahead of the Curve: Learn to Fit & Sew Amazing Clothes for your Curves“. The printed book contains a printed copy as well as a PDF download link, and the ebook contains the PDF download link.

Kenwin T-shirt

The Kenwin is a surplice t-shirt with a twist: the crossover is at the back! It has raglan sleeves and a high rounded neckline at the front, and then an awesome V at the back created by the crossed-over pieces, which has been designed to cover your bra.

Dolman sleeved t-shirts & knit tops

Cedar Top

The Cedar is a rare pattern that can be made out of knit or woven fabric – and it makes a great t-shirt. It has a simple version with a center front seam (easy to remove if you’d rather – just cut off the center front seam allowance and cut on the fold), a fun version with a knot, and a faced neckline.

The Cedar Top is a Cashmerette Collection pattern, available for anyone to purchase.

Elevated t-shirts & knit tops

Carlyle T-shirt

The Carlyle is a fabulous t-shirt featuring a square neck with a beautifully mitered neckband, and on-trend puffy sleeves. It also mixes and matches with the Concord to create over 80 different combinations!

Dartmouth Top

A sophisticated alternative to a traditional t-shirt, the Dartmouth has a fixed cross-over front with two variations (flat front or ruched), three sleeve lengths and a no-gape neckline thanks to the curve-friendly neckband.

The Dartmouth Top is a Cashmerette Collection pattern, available for anyone to purchase.

Brattle Top

The Brattle is a t-shirt with a twist, literally! It features a faced high scoop neckline and an inventive twist which adds interest without adding bulk. It comes with short sleeves, but also mixes and matches with the Concord and Carlyle t-shirts for even more options.

The Brattle Top is a Cashmerette Club pattern, available exclusively for Club members. Join today to get instant access along with dozens of other patterns!

Maternity & nursing t-shirts

Brookline T-Shirt

The Brookline is designed for pregnancy, with two body types: a ruched fitted option, and a swing silhouette. It has three neckline options (high, scoop and V-neck), three sleeve lengths (short, mid and long) and two sleeve finishes (cuffed or hemmed). It can easily be lengthened for a tunic look, and will keep you stylish and comfortable while you’re waiting for your new arrival.

The Brookline T-shirt is a Cashmerette Collection pattern, available for anyone to purchase.

Wonderful blog post. This answered so many question I have about the t-shirt patterns.

Would it be possible to get the chart in a printable format? I’d like to have it in my pattern collection.

  2. Adele says:

Thank you for this helpful chart! I would love to see a princess seam/raglan combo tee, but I don’t even know if that’s doable 🙂

Thank you for such a great post. It’s great to have all the comparison info in the one spot. I do have a question about the fit of the Concord vs Carlyle. Would you say the Concord is more fitted than the Carlyle? I have both, and I’m unsure if the fit is a little different or if it’s just down to fabric choice. Thanks for so many fantastic options!

  4. Bea says:

Thanks so much for this fantastic info (and chart!) Any chance you’ll be adding the Eustis to the list of tshirts? I’d like to see how it fits into the chart.

This really is the most useful blog post ever. It really highlights the fantastic variety and flexibility of the Cashmerette t-shirt patterns. Who would have thought there were so many options and I never knew that so many of the patterns could be mixed and matched. I’m just about to venture into sewing knits, I’m really looking forward to it now. Thanks for this great post.
