Now, let’s look at all of these mesmerizing Marbleheads!
Britney’s Marblehead Swimsuit
It’s a Barbie world for Britney and we can’t get enough! Sewn in a 40D top and 24 waist bottoms graded to a 20 hip, she chose a fun and vibrant Barbie Gingham swim fabric. Britney loved the construction, the easy-to-follow instructions, how secure it feels and the ultimate test—how well it performs in the water. Not only did her boobs stay in place, but she’s received a ton of compliments.
Her measurements are 47” full bust, 41” under bust, 44″ waist, 50″ hip (119 cm full bust, 104 cm under bust, 111 cm waist, 127 cm hip).
Here’s what Britney had to say about her Marblehead:
“I was nervous about the tie front of this swimsuit, but with the cup shaping in the lining, I can actually untie the swimsuit and my boobs still stay in place. There’s terrific construction at work. Love the bottoms, good line on the bum. I thought that the instructions were clear and easy to follow (and once you make a Loftus, this one’s breezy). Overall, I love this swimsuit, it performed well in the water this weekend and I actually got many compliments on it! Bonus!”

Jenny’s Marblehead Swimsuit
You can always rely on Jenny for fabulous color – and her color blocked Marblehead makes us want to jump right in! Frolicking in style, Jenny sewed hers in a 44C cup and 24/28 bottoms and chose a delightful neon pink, green, and orange color blocked swim Lycra. She added the optional clasp behind the tie for even more support.
Her measurements are 49” full bust, 45” under bust, 48″ waist, 60″ hip (124 cm full bust, 114 cm under bust, 121 cm waist, 152 cm hip).
Here’s what Jenny shared with us about her Marblehead:
“This is the CUTEST swimsuit. I added the 2nd clasp for added chest support. I loved the ability to color block the garment.”

Shelley’s Marblehead Swimsuit
Shelley is secure, stylish, and care-free in her Marblehead Swimsuit. Sewn in a 36C top and 16 waist graded to 12 hip bottoms, she chose a vivacious pink and purple feline flourish swim fabric with swim lining in both the top and the bottoms. We love Shelley’s suit – and her amazing beach pics! Her measurements are 39.5” full bust, 35” under bust, 36″ waist, 42″ hip (100 cm full bust, 88 cm under bust, 91 cm waist, 106 cm hip).
Here’s what Shelley had to say about her Marblehead:
“It was my first time sewing in boning and it was so much easier than I expected! It’s always good to step out of your comfort zone and try a new technique. The bikini is super comfortable to wear and so secure – I could imagine doing water sports with zero fear of any body parts making a break for freedom! 😀 I really love the racer back – saves twisting yourself into awkward positions to apply sunscreen to the middle of your back!”

Stacie’s Marblehead Swimsuit
A tankini that would keep everything in place during swim aerobics is what Stacie was looking for and that’s exactly what she got with her Marblehead! Sewn in a 46DD, she chose a brilliant green nylon/spandex swimwear fabric that definitely stands out from the crowd. Trusting the process and overcoming a few mental hurdles along the way, she couldn’t be more satisfied with the finished product. No jiggling or spilling around here and complete joy. Now, that’s exactly what we love to hear!
Her measurements are 54” full bust, 46.5” under bust, 45″ waist, 60″ hip (137 cm full bust, 118 cm under bust, 114 cm waist, 152 cm hip).
Here’s what Stacie shared with us about her Marblehead:
“Sewing the Marblehead Swimsuit made me truly learn to trust the process. From the start, I sought to make the tankini. I desired to have maximum support, so I knew it would be best to use actual swimwear lining as the instructions suggested. I even added cups to the top, but was very judgmental of how it fit my frame along the way. I thought I had done something wrong such as cutting it too small. I needed this to work for my swim aerobics class. In the end, happiness was an understatement! Nothing jiggled or spilled, which filled me with joy! The Marblehead Tankini is a must make!”

Gemma’s Marblehead Swimsuit
A delightful sew, fantastic bum coverage, and a cherry on top, Gemma’s Marblehead is sweet as can be. Sewn in a 44H and 28 graded out to 30 bottom, she chose a nylon lycra swim fabric adorned with cherries with non-stretch bra lining and power mesh. She found it to be a fun and quick sew and loves how supportive the top is and the bum coverage.
Her measurements are 53” full bust, 44” under bust, 48″ waist, 61″ hip (134 cm full bust, 111 cm under bust, 121 cm waist, 154 cm hip).
Here’s what Gemma shared with us about her Marblehead:
“Absolutely delightful to sew and the top is extremely supportive. The bottoms cover my bottom well which is amazing!”

I love wearing puffer vests in the winter and this one is super cute!
Could this also work as a front hook bra? Minus the tie? A broken shoulder is making it difficult to dress myself! Thanks
The way it’s drafted right now, you’d have to do some work to remove the tie but theoretically yes!
