There are so many ways to personalize this robe, so let’s get inspired!

Tegan’s Lygon Robe

Tegan made her Lygon Robe out of a linen which she dyed herself in this lovely avocado color for a truly one-of-a-kind layering piece.

Tegan used a size 30 and cut the back on the fold. Her measurements are 46″ high bust, 60″ full bust, 50″ waist, and 60″ hip, and she is 5′ 9″.

Tegan shared this about her Lygon Robe:

While I love PJs and loungewear, the first thing I thought of when I saw the Lygon is that it would make a great duster! Living in Georgia, lightweight outer layers are so great to have around for fall and spring. The French darts give it a nice fit while still being really simple in construction, and I love the channel stitching detail on the trim. I love my Lygon duster now, it’s exactly what I was hoping for! It will get tons of wear this fall.”

Theresa’s Lygon Robe

Theresa created this eye-catching Lygon Robe using a bright floral pattern contrasted with solid details. She included inner ties to help keep her robe in place.

Theresa made a size 8 and her measurements are 34″ high bust, 38″ full bust, 31″ waist, and 42″ hip.

Here’s what Theresa had to say about the Lygon:

“This project was engaging to work on, as there were different design elements than the projects that I normally make. I found the channelling quite relaxing and meditative.”

Basma’s Lygon Robe

Basma made her Lygon Robe in a stunning satin for a luxurious look. She made a size 28 and her measurements are 52″ high bust, 57″ full bust, 51″ waist, and 61″ hip.

Basma shared this about her Lygon:

I wasn’t prepared for all the channel stitching on this robe, but I’m obsessed with how it turned out! It’s so chic and sexy and very different from anything else I’ve got in my closet.”

Marissa’s Lygon Robe

Marissa also went for a contrast look on her Lygon Robe using this fun brushstroke pattern on the details and a vibrant solid as her main fabric.

Marissa made a size 4 and her measurements are 33″ high bust, 34″ full bust, 28″ waist, and 37″ hip.

Marissa shares this about her Lygon:

“I love the high style of the Lygon robe. Whether I’m feeling elegant wearing it at home as a dressing robe or wearing it as an extra layer, it’s the perfect addition to my wardrobe.”

Preeti’s Lygon Robe

Preeti made this cozy Lygon Robe in cotton flannel, perfect for the cooling weather. She made a size 10 with no adjustments. Her measurements are 36″ high bust, 40″ full bust, 33″ waist, and 38″ hip.

Preeti shares this about her Lygon:

“I enjoyed sewing the Lygon Robe. I’m very pleased with how it turned out. It fits better than any robe I could buy due to the gentle shaping with the French dart.”

Whitney’s Lygon Robe

Whitney didn’t stop at one but made two beautiful Lygon Robes: a lovely green cotton waffle robe perfect for around the house, and a second shorter version in a fabulous colorful geometric pattern to wear as a statement piece.

Whitney made her Lygon Robes in a size 10. Her measurements are 36″ high bust, 41″ full bust, 33″ waist, and 36″ hip, and she is 5′ 2″.

Whitney had this to share about her Lygon Robes:

“While this was a relatively simple and quick sew, I just love the details that are included in this pattern. The channel stitching on the neckband, cuffs and pockets makes this both a very lovely robe for around the house and an even better statement jacket!”
