At Cashmerette, our current size range goes up to a size 32, which is a 62″ (157 cm) hip. But did you know many of our patterns accommodate hips up to 70″ without any grading up?
This is because we have patterns where the skirts are designed to be significantly bigger than your hips – which is known as having “positive ease”. In some cases, that means they’ll still fit well even if your hip measurement is over 62″.
We’ve rounded up those patterns below, and included what the ease will be at larger sizes, so you can judge whether that amount that would work for you – we have suggested what we think would be the maximum hip size to still get the same “look”, but if your hips are a bit bigger, it may well still work!
If you decide to buy one of these patterns, choose the option with the largest size range when purchasing (note that we’re in the process of printing all our 12 – 32 size patterns, but in some cases the full size range may only be available in PDF at the moment).
