Fabric Inspiration for the Appleton Dress

The Appleton Dress is knit wrap dress available in sizes 0-32 with cup sizes C-H included. Shopping for high quality knits online can be difficult- but never fear, your Cashmerette fabric curators are here!

When shopping for your Appleton fabric, make sure to choose a knit fabric with 50% stretch on the cross grain. Some fabric stores also make a note of what each fabric is suitable for or include information on whether the fabric is opaque when stretched.

While we want a light-medium weight knit for the Appleton, make sure not to buy tissue-weight knits and you will more than likely want a knit that includes spandex/elastane/lycra, so your dress doesn’t “grow” and sag throughout the day.

Let’s browse together, shall we?
