The rumors are true: for a limited time, your favorite Cashmerette patterns can now be found in select JOANN stores!
Four years ago, when Jenny and Carrie were shipping out patterns from the back of a local fabric shop in Boston in the early days of Cashmerette, they never imagined that one day, these patterns would be on the shelves of the US’s largest fabric retailer. We are fortunate to have an opportunity to do a test market in 10 JOANN stores—we hope it’s a smashing success and goes national!
We know that for many sewists in the US, JOANN stores are the go-to place for fabric and sewing patterns, and we are thrilled to introduce Cashmerette to lots of new curvy sewists and make it easier to pick up patterns. If you’re never had the chance to browse Cashmerette patterns in person, and you happen to live near one of the ten test stores, we hope you’ll swing over and take a look around. And, if you have the chance to buy a pattern you’ve had your eye on, pick one up as a gift for a friend, or just let the store know you’re a fan and want even more of our patterns—it all helps. The patterns will be in store for the next three months.
We wish we could personally visit all of the stores, but unfortunately, even the closest one to us is a four hours’ drive. If you get a chance to visit one of these stores, we’d love it if you would snap a selfie with the displays so we can see how the patterns look in the store. (We’ve been told they’re to be found near the fabric cutting stations.) Tag us and use the hashtag #CashmeretteAtJOANN—let’s see if we can collectively visit them all this way!

Paramus
Paramus is near me!!!!!
Sadly, none of the stores are near my current home. I used to live near Torrance, CA and Paramus, NJ. Both are great high volume retail locations. The Paramus store is quite large and busy. I hope it works out and you’re able to expand to the Joann’s near me in TN. Congrats!

Yay for Kennesaw, Georgia. I’m heading there this weekend (or Monday). Can’t wait to see them on display and see which one I’m going to purchase.
OH, boy. The Tucson store is the one I shop at (but not for fabric). I’ll go tomorrow and see if the patterns are there.

All the stores are carrying the Turner Dress, Upton Dress, Chilton Trench Coat, Harrison Shirt, Appleton Dress, Concord T-Shirt, Montrose Top, and Ames Jeans. They have limited quantities of each pattern so if there’s a particular one you’re hoping to pick up, we recommend giving them a call first to make sure it’s still in stock.

Columbia, MD location box was almost empty! Managed to grab an Appleton dress and jeans pattern. Can’t wait to dive in to making my first pair of jeans.
Sadly, the display in the Columbia, MD store is now empty. Any chance they will be restocked?? I made sure to have a quick word with the manager to encourage them to continue stocking in the future.
